||Development and implementation of software tools for surface processing and analysis

||This project concerns the development and implementation of three software tools, interfaced with a commercial software for surface topography processing and analysis. The first software tool rotates a plane by chosen tilt angles around both axes. It is used to correct any alignment slope occurring during the surface scanning. The second software tool allows the deconvolution of the tip shape from the surface image.
The third tool is complementary to the first and evaluates the tilt angles of a plane about both axes.
The first and the second algorithm are supported by qualitative as well as quantitative analyses. In order to accomplish the quantitative analysis for the first software tool, a series of measurements has been carried out with an optical instrument.
