Abstract This report addresses software development in a small company consisting of two internal stakeholders. It is common acknowledged that software development of is complex process to pursue. Due to the various ways in which software can be produced, the development requires many different kind of expertise such as programming, graphical design, ability to collaborate, leadership, coordination etc... Because of this, a vast variety of different software development methodologies exist to guide the development. However, no methodology has been found of yet, which addresses software development i small companies as the size of two or three internal stakeholders. The aim of this report is thus, to develop a methodology for the company subject for the project. The reference methodology is Scrum. The research project is carried out as action research, and the point of departure is organization theory. Based on this the problem situation of the company will be described with respect to software development.
