Abstract In this Msc. Thesis a microwave signal distribution network is developed as part of a Terahertz Imaging System. The objective is to achieve the requirements needed in order to provide a stable and equal signal distribution which frequency is between 13 and 18 GHz. After a literature survey the Broadband Wilkinson Power Divider is selected as main circuit and the whole distribution network is designed and manufactured on microstrip technology. Good input and output matching are pursued and the distribution network is required to have 12 dB of amplification and good isolation among different outputs. This amplification is provided by using an amplification stage connected to the power division stage. The design process is based on simulations performed with Advanced Design System software. The circuit is entirely manufactured in Elektro DTU and also measured there using a Network Analyzer. Further test are also considered in case that first measurements are promising.
