||This Master thesis takes its point of view in developing an aid that can support a citizen getting up after a fall. This arena is then opened through a concept phase, in where these solutions are narrowed down through several milestones presented for the project supervisors. At
these meetings, which have a status of a board of directors, the finial concept was selected.
The pneumatic stool was chosen. Due to the fact that there are only very few products on the market that could have a similarity of a pneumatic construction and thereby could constitute a precedence of such a construction, and the fact that to make pneumatic calculations it would require a number of mathematic extra courses. This made the ground for a number of empirical studies and lead to tests of a number of different membranes, it became clear that to fulfil all aspects of the user point of view, 3 parameters had to be fulfilled, the choice of construction, material and the production process. These factors were the parameters of selection for the material that could lead to a suitable and stable construction.
In the finial end, subparts of the product had to be neglected to give time for answering main questions about the construction.
By this, there was manufactured a construction that fulfil the basic specifications, where the goal have been to achieve its aspects.
