Abstract The objective of this thesis is to make an analysis of the current development of business processes in Danske Bank. Based on this analysis, it was decided that development of business processes in Workflow Department would benefit from applying Model Driven Development principles for the direct representation of the requirements for business processes in their specific context. The complete development process of workflows can be implemented in a way that enables creating the requirements for workflows with the use of the specific modeling notation, and then transforming these models to a concrete implementation in BPEL with the possibility of code generation. This highly improves the current development process of workflows, as well as it solves the problem of consistency and completeness of the requirements.
