Abstract The paper describes investigation of the suitable method for quantitative analysis of anions in pharmaceutical salts. Ion Chromatography with suppressed conductivity detection was the main technique used for the research. Development of gradient KOH elution allowed to obtain the method for simultaneous analysis of inorganic and organic anions. Separation of 17 anions mixture was obtained in 52 minutes of analysis. The developed method could provide good resolution of the peaks, up to the concentration of 50 mg/L of all anions in mixture. Method was validated in case of linearity, limits of quantification, precision, accuracy and recovery. The linear ranges were specified for all anions. Comparison of the calculation on LOQ was included. Six different pharmaceutical salts with 4 different anions: Bromide, Chloride, Oxalate and Succinate were analyzed. The precision on standards was very good (RSD <2%) while on samples RSD <3 %. Samples were also analyzed in the term of accurate value based on pooled calibrations and repetitions from many days
