Abstract The objective of the project is to make an autonomous robot fork lift. The robot should recognize and pick-up different colored objects placed in a labyrinth. Before the robot searches the labyrinth a supervisor will choose which color the robot should get. When the robot finds the correct object it should always choose the direct route back to the starting point.
As a proof of concept a miniature autonomous robot fork lift was built to work in a warehouse where it is commanded to pick up different pallets with the colors red, green and blue demanded by a supervisor. Different methods for solving the problems are analyzed and discussed during the project. The chosen methods are then tested to see if the requirements are met.
