Abstract This bachelor project describes the design and implementation of a static energy meter.
The energy meter meant to be placed inside of an electric vehicle charger station, for measuring the active energy consumption in watt-hours of the attached vehicle.
The final electric vehicle charger station is to be attached to either a local closed-communication-grid or the future Smart-Grid. Here it is to be used for billing the vehicle owner for the consumed energy, and perform load balancing of the net.
