Simple, cost- and power efficient monitoring systems are getting increasingly pop- ular but is still an area with room for improvement. We want to show how such a system can be designed and implemented for monitoring solar panel power production. The system needs to be easy to install, keep costs at a minimum and have a low power consumption. Each design choice is discussed in detail and the implementation shown along with test results.
