|Abstract||Because the society constantly craves for new measures to protect privacy and provide authentication, people look for new technological developments and solutions, where safety is a key factor.
This project examines the technology behind Speaker Recognition, which could be part of such a solution.
Through theory and development of a prototype system, the technologies used will be reviewed and tested.
The prototype works with a recognition rate of over 70% which indicates, that it is a possible solution in terms of making society safer, although there is room for improvement.
